My Story

 

My name is Michala Petersen and I am a ranch wife, mama to 4 kiddos ages 9, 8, 6, and 4, and pharmacist from Nebraska.  I grew up working for my dad in our Funeral Home and have always had a fond love for helping people.  As I began to learn more about how nutrition and lifestyle can prevent disease as well as give our bodies the proper fuel to better heal itself, my philosophy changed drastically.  I started on a wellness journey in 2014 and could have never imagined how my life would be enriched.  Within 4 short months of being introduced to a culture that changed my life, I realized that I had helped more people in 4 months than I had in 10 years as a pharmacist!  But the truth is, I am where I am today because a mom of a kiddo with cancer asked me how long I had known about it and why I hadn't shared it sooner!  Her message rocked me to the core.  I realized that day that everyone deserves to have knowledge that can use to better themselves!

My grandma was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and, while I knew of the traditional medical treatments, I dedicated every spare minute of time to researching any possible avenue we could choose! I would have loved to have had a site like this that would have provided education, inspiration, motivation, and some much needed humor during our time of need! I have learned so much and cannot wait to share some ideas, tips, tricks, and knowledge with you!  Thanks so much for visiting this website! My prayer is that it blesses you and your loved ones!
